PLAZA Magazine and Brand Design Center establish Fredrik Färg as rookie of the year 2009.
The Exhibition Ocian Couture will be shown untill november 28 .
Brand Design Center will be the first retailer to represent Fredrik Färg. In the up coming year BDC will make make a permanent place in there showroom where products like for example the RE:cover collection and Modus:cover will be shown.
Here you will also find some of the most internationally famous brands in kitchens, bathrooms, interior design and AV. A combination of innovative ideas and an aesthetic approach has created a unique concept and unique surroundings of 950 sqm in which we exhibit and supply some of the world's best products.

DMY Allstars exhibition, Berlin 2009
Fredrik Färg celebrates recent international acclaim with his fist solo-collection exhibition at the DMY Allstars exhibition.
The festival´s theme of the year is "Same same, but different", design that makes a difference.
At DMY he will use his latest work, a magazine stand named Skyscrape, to create an architectural forest around a selection
of his latest interior products. Featured are Coat for Materia, and the RE:cover collection, along with his cupboard,
Modus:cover, recently shown at the Salone Satellite in Milan.

Fredrik will show his project RE:cover, bespoke dresses to old chairs, and more new pieces.
One new piece is Modus:cover, a cupboard distinguished by the fashion prevalent on the day it was built.
The cupboard is covered with fashion magazines from its birthday, and is thereafter stained in black and varnished,
and the magazines show through ever so slightly. A secret shelf inside the cupboard hides a magazine in original.
The inspiration for this piece of furniture comes in part from the magical moment when one renovating an old house
finds newspapers, as old as the house, behind the wallpaper. The historical context of the building suddenly stands before you!

Park Fashion, with Steinunn Sigurðardóttir, Gothenburg
Saturday, 28 / 2, in Gothenburg, we'll run our popular Fashion Park again, a unique event where you can enjoy shopping and
beautiful haute couture clothes from Steinunn Sigurðardóttir, clothes that have not yet reached the Swedish market.
Park Fashion also shows the young designer Fredrik Färg´s art and design, including his attention couture furniture recently
premiered showed the Stockholm Design Week.
After having worked in several well-known fashion houses Steinunn Sigurðardóttir have since 2000 have led their own
business from Reykjavik with great success. Her design shows a great experience with a high fashion level and perfected quality feel.
Collections is also on high tailoring and material information. The Icelandic nature as inspiration has Steinunn Sigurðardóttir gave

Stockholm Furniture Fair 2009
Fredrik is represented in 6 different exhibitions at the fair, and his own stand at Greenhouse. He is one of the winners of Glimåkra
Designers Prize, and his chair Coat will be produced by Materia and also chosen to represent: Young Swedish Design, in the exhibition: Ung 7
Young Swedish Design - Ung7
Coat has been chosen to represent young Swedish design at the travelling exhibition Ung7.
Ung 7 is a recurrent, juried, travelling exhibition that highlighting the essence of creative
liberty in design, arranged by Svensk Form.
It´s about believing in your ideas and realizing them. About having the courage to think, try and play freely,
without considering market restrictions.
The exhibition will open at Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 20, and will then travel around the world for two years.
